If you're looking for baubles for your bodies, you've come to the right place! We have new jewelry artists and designers to tell you about and lots of jewels from familiar designers too!
Q Evon Design
The latest in a string of artists and artisans discovered on Karen's latest trip to South Carolina, Q Evon Design fuses contemporary metal artistry with classic style. Dubbed "body architecture" by its talented designer, "Q," every piece is exquisitely crafted with rich textures and pleasing organic, structural shapes out of silver and gold. "Q" draws on her influences from ancient metal work and architecture. While attending Parsons School of Design "Q" discovered a talent for wax carving, which was later developed into Q Evon Design. Today she uses the techniques of reticulation, anti-clastic raising, acid etching, granulation, roller printing and keum-boo to achieve the sophisticated designs she is so known for. You'll love this line of jewelry if you enjoy designs with a more tailored look.
*Sneak Peek* David Tishbi
Although we only have a very small sampling from Israeli designer David Tishbi at the moment, we're anxiously awaiting a large shipment from him. David's "spinner rings" are created using a mixture of silver and yellow and rose gold. Colors and textures work harmoniously together to achieve a look that is both artful and feminine. Pictured at left is just one of the delicate designs we will be receiving. So many of you love Ithil Metalworks' innovative kinetic ring designs, now you'll enjoy the work of David Tishbi to add to your jingly ring collection.
