Mary Aslin Delights the Senses
Mary Aslin is one busy lady. She recently breezed into Chemers Gallery with several new pastel paintings and are they ever stunning! Stepping away from her floral still life fantasies and serene seascapes, Mary painted a gorgeous garden scene, bringing to mind an English rose garden on a warm summer day. This painting feels spontaneous, joyful and refreshing, much like Mary herself. Could this be a sign of works to come from this talented artist? We certainly hope so! Although Garden's Delight is already spoken for, we couldn't resist the temptation to show it to you.
And, speaking of temptation...
...isn't this still life mouthwatering? We love the playfulness of this arrangement and the luscious combination of pinks and browns. This scrumptious painting invites you to sit down with Mary and help yourself to a slice of cake and a cupful of punch. No need to worry about cheating on your New Year's diets with this beautiful feast!
